  You will receive information from the NHS today regarding the flu vaccine. Please read the letter and leaflet and return the form within a week. 

• Friday 27th September - Dress up for Book Day

  To end our book week children may come to school dressed up as a character from a favourite book. They can also bring the book for show and tell. 

• Meet the teacher - Tuesday 3rd September

  We are looking forward to welcoming your child to our 'Meet the Teacher' session on Tuesday at 1:30 pm. Please come in through the main gate at Britannia Village and proceed through to the large playground on your left. At 1:30 pm the class teachers will collect the children in their class and escort them into the new Royal Wharf reception classes. The teachers will have a sign with the class name on and you have been informed of your child's class. If you have misplaced this information please see a member of staff in the playground who will be able to help you. You are welcome to wait in the playground but please note that, if you have younger children with you, the climbing frame is not suitable for younger children and should not be used. The children do not have too wear uniform to this session but we expect them to be in the correct uniform for their official start on Wednesday. We have some uniform in stock if you still need to purchase items.  

  At 2:10 pm we are inviting parents to meet us in the school hall so that we can explain entry and exit to the school and answer any questions you may have. You will then collect your children at 2:30 pm. 

  We hope to have our parent texting and emailing system up and running by the end of the week.
