Westwood to Wharf Shoebox Design Project

The project was introduced to the children using the picture book story 'Where the Wild Things Are'. The Children were given a homework task to re-imagine their school and neighbourhood settings and create a scene within a shoebox that communicated how they would like the setting to change. They then worked with local creative practitioners to look at their designs and set the scene for possible future changes to their play spaces and the local environment. This short film documents the process across both of our schools.
